About Gabriel Corens, LICSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker and specialize in developmental and complex trauma treatment. I am also a certified PCIT therapist. I trained and worked at the Trauma Center in Brookline, MA with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk and have worked for a large social services agency supporting effective treatments for children in outpatient and residential care.
At my core, I believe in the dignity of my clients and strive to create trusting and healing relationships. I have advanced training in PCIT, neurofeedback, and additional trauma-informed and evidenced-based therapies to help children, adults, and families. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the fields of international humanitarianism and IT. I have two young children and also speak Spanish.
